Yes. Megalodon Builds holds a Washington State General Contractor License, is fully bonded, and carries $2M general liability and workers compensation insurance. We can provide certificates of insurance upon request.

Pricing & Contracts

We offer fixed-price contracts for clearly defined scopes and cost-plus contracts for complex or open-ended projects. All contracts include a detailed line-item budget, payment schedule, and change-order process.

Standard contracts require a 10% mobilization deposit upon signing, with progress payments tied to defined project milestones. Final payment is due at successful completion and client sign-off.

Any changes to the original scope are documented as a formal change order with updated cost and schedule impact before work begins. We never proceed with out-of-scope work without written approval.

Project Process

Timelines vary by scope. A bathroom remodel may take 4–6 weeks, a kitchen remodel 6–10 weeks, an ADU 5–7 months, and a custom home 12–18 months. We provide a detailed project schedule at contract signing.

Yes. Every Megalodon Builds project is assigned a dedicated Project Manager who serves as your single point of contact from pre-construction through final walk-through.

Absolutely. Permit acquisition is included in our standard scope. Our team prepares all documentation, submits applications, and coordinates inspections — keeping your project compliant and on track.

Quality & Warranty

All Megalodon Builds projects include a one-year workmanship warranty covering any defects in labor or installation. Manufacturer warranties on materials and appliances are transferred directly to you at closeout.

We maintain a vetted network of licensed specialty subcontractors (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) who work exclusively with Megalodon Builds on a long-term basis, ensuring consistent quality standards on every project.
